Him
Check! We picked his suit up at Men's Warehouse during their buy-one, get-one sale. He ended up with two new suits, two new ties, and two new belts for well under what I paid for my dress. AND, he can wear it all after the wedding. I might be a little jealous.
Sperry Top-Sider Largos
Her
I wanted bright purple shoes for that surprise pop of color. I was nervous about dye though because we're having a beach wedding. I couldn't find anything cute in purple without a super high heel. So, I decided to try Carmen. The ribbon/rhinestone strap can be pulled out and changed to plain white, but I think I like them this way. I'm also not sure which way I'll go with the flowers.
Shoe Bling
I decided to get crafty and decorate the bottom of my shoes. I did our first initials and our wedding date. I'm pretty pleased with the results and think they'll make for a cute photo. It was surprisingly easy!
Flip Flops
I know my shoes won't make it through all of the sand, so when I saw these at J. Crew I had to buy them. I changed the gold studs to purple.
Starfish Bling
I'm thinking about adding this to my bouquet.
Hair Flower
I have several hair flowers because I kept changing my mind as my hair grew out. I *think* this is the one I'm using now. Not sure if I'll do my hair to the side or just half up in the back.
Dress Hanger
This is my hanger from Lila Frances on Etsy. I decided it would be worth buying one instead of trying to do it myself. I was right, and I love it!
Clutch
I ordered this from ItsSoClutch to stash a few must-haves in for the wedding day.
Jewelry
I've played with my jewelry a lot, but I think I'm going with classic pearls. This is the triple strand bracelet from Blue Nile. I'm wearing a matching single strand necklace and drop earrings. I first bought really pretty orchid earrings, but I think I'll use those for our welcome dinner instead.
The Dress!!
Garter
I love my garter! It's from sugarplumgarters on Etsy. We aren't doing a toss, but I had to have one anyway. I added the "I Do" charm from Hobby Lobby.
Alfred Angelo
I teared up when I tried this dress on, and my dad said to stop looking. It was the second dress I tried on with my family. I had preshopped so I pretty much knew this was the dress anyway, but it was nice to have my family confirm my decision without knowing it was the one I had picked out. The pictures below are of my actual dress in white instead of ivory, before alterations. I ended up going with a french bustle, so the top tiers completely cover everything and it doesn't look bustled at all. I forgot to have someone snap a picture.
